BBQ & Bourbon: No Better Match

Now that you’ve wiped that thick layer of pollen off your grill, it’s time to light it up. Longer days and T-shirt temps mean spring grilling season is back and, thanks to Ezra Brooks, tastier than ever.

Straight Off the Grill

Whether you’re sipping your bourbon or using it to coat your meat before applying dry rub, you can’t go wrong with Ezra 99 Rye. With subtle hints of chocolate, vanilla, leather and spicy grains, this whiskey’s slightly sweet, oaky tones pair perfectly with almost any meat that goes on your grill.

Aged to Perfection

Flavor and flame go together like whiskey in a rocks glass. And Old Ezra 7-Year Straight Rye Whiskey tastes like everything you love about great barbeque. It’s got some real age to it—charcoal-filtered for a mellow and remarkably smooth finish. You’ll savor the sweet, oaky tones, but also catch hints of vanilla, honey, and the warmth of spice and tobacco. Like a good marinade on a great cut of meat, every sip takes you on a taste journey.

Early Bird Gets the Bourbon

If you want the meat in your smoker to taste like it’s been aged as long as our whiskeys, you’ve got to get up pretty early in the a.m. We’re talking birds-chirping, coat-shivering, coffee-drinking early.

Might as well warm up and wake up with a little Ezra Brooks Bourbon Cream in your cup. Hot or cold, here’s the perfect cocktail to kickstart your morning:

-2-oz. strong coffee or expresso
-1.5-oz. Ezra Brooks Bourbon Cream

Want it hot? Just add Ezra Brooks to your mug and stir.
Want it cold? Add coffee, Ezra Brooks and ice to a shaker. Strain into a glass and add more ice.
