BOURBON 75

When you’re feeling festive, you might reach for champagne. But try this modern take on a French 75 instead. Kentucky bourbon makes a fine substitute for gin.

Ingredients
- 1.5 ounces Ezra Brooks 99 Kentucky Straight Bourbon
- Half a lemon, juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon honey
- 3 ounces champagne or sparkling wine
- 1 lemon slice, cut before juicing the lemon
DIRECTIONS
Fill a cocktail tin with ice. Add the first three ingredients and shake well. Strain into a champagne flute or coupe. Top with champagne and garnish with lemon slice.
