The name is misleading, for this cocktail is more sweet and tangy than sour. Sometimes an egg white is added for extra froth.
- 2 ounces Ezra Brooks Kentucky Straight Bourbon
- .75 ounce lemon juice
- .75 ounce simple syrup
- Optional: 1 egg white
Add all the ingredients to a shaker filled with ice and shake. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a cherry and lemon wedge.
