Warmer weather calls for friendly get-togethers — and lighter sippers. These three bourbon-infused cocktails are full of spring cheer and perfect for any gathering, from a backyard barbecue to a romantic date-night dinner.
2 ounces Ezra Brooks Kentucky Straight Bourbon
4 ounces lemonade
3-4 dashes Angostura bitters
1 orange slice for garnish
In a tall glass, add Angostura bitters and Ezra Brooks Kentucky Straight Bourbon, in that order. Fill glass with crushed ice and top with lemonade. Garnish with an orange slice.
Rye the Knot
2 ounces Ezra Brooks Straight Rye Whiskey
1 ounce lemon juice
1 ounce lime juice
1 ounce pineapple juice
1 Demerara sugar cube
3 strawberries (hulled)
3 basil leaves
In a cocktail shaker add 2 strawberries, 2 basil leaves, and the sugar cube and muddle. Add rye, juice, and ice; shake vigorously. Strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a skewered basil-wrapped strawberry.
1.5 ounces Ezra Brooks Kentucky Straight Bourbon
1 bar spoon Luxardo cherry juice
4 ounces prosecco
1 Luxardo cherry for garnish
In a mixing glass filled with cracked ice, add Ezra Brooks Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Stir with a bar spoon of Luxardo cherry juice and strain into a champagne flute. Top with prosecco and drop in a cherry for garnish.
